In Sessions I and II, we row three times a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. In Session III, because of the declining evening light, we row . . .

  • Session I will start on Saturday June 7 and end on Tuesday July 1 (so as to not impinge on the 4th of July holiday).
  • Session II will start on Tuesday July 8 and end on Saturday August 30.
  • Session III will start on September 2 and end with the Head of the Occoquan race on Sunday November 2.

    Registration
    Registration is on line at ronin racing Look under "Rowing Programs" for the "Northern Virginia Rowing Club." You can save a few bucks by registering for all three sessions if you are reasonably sure you will participate the entire season. If you are new to rowing, you must be registered for the Learn to Row Session prior to Saturday, June 7, and you must be able to attend the first three sessions - June 7, June 10, and June 12.
